7. Financial and Investment Advice: a word of warning

7.2 At the time of this revision, the Financial Services Authority may not regulate term assurance and does not regulate mortgages, taxation advice, inheritance tax planning, trust advice, TESSAs, private medical insurance, national savings and bank and building society deposits, school fees planning and partnership protection planning. From 1st November 2004, the Financial Services Authority will regulate mortgages and long term care business and from 14th January 2005, they will regulate general insurance.
